the History of FleshworldA Scream in the DarkFleshworld began in early 2002 as an outgrowth of an ongoing collaboration between Lori Thantos and John Davis. Three years of occasionally knocking stuff out on recordings interspersed with long periods of lethargy were now bound to give rise to a live ensemble. After a handful of successful live performances the band split. Lori continued on with DeusSex and John went back to the drawing board with Fleshworld. New BloodNew inspirations pinioned around the bass guitar, more sparse and somber. Shane Ace Russell, keyboardist from the previous incarnation, remained and later Amber Schwanke joined on drums. This three-piece began composing an entirely new set of material in a dark but more organic vein. Next ...The last couple of years life has become busy. Shane has been on hiatus and we have done a handful of shows as a two-peice. Uncompleted recordings are still sitting around. There are some real sketchy things on MySpace. |
